By the standards of San Francisco, this hotel represents great value for money. It is well decorated with a modern, hip vibe and the rooms are small but plenty spacious enough for the modern traveller. Our room was quiet and, although it didn't get much daylight, it was fine since we were out and about most of the day. It was well appointed with a modern bathroom and a comfortable bed and the overall feel was that it was brand new and meticulously maintained. The location right next to Union Square is great for exploring the city and is a very short walk away from Muni, tram, bus and BART connections so pack light and don't waste your money on an Uber or cab from the airport (The BART runs from SFO and drops you off 5 mins on foot from the hotel). You can also get yourself a clipper card and explore this great city using the great public transport SF has to offer. The coffee at the hotel is not great but the Caffe Central just around the corner on O'Farrell does great coffee and breakfasts.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is only 5 minutes walk from the Powell St BART train station and from the cable car turnaround station which has a ticket office where I was able to buy a 3 day visitors passport (unlimited rides on Muni, Muni Metro, historic streetcars and cable cars) for $31 (USD). A single cable car ride is $8 USD. The hotel is right in the middle of the shopping district, in the same block as Macy's and in the next block to Union Square. My room was small but very comfortable and clean with a ceiling fan. There was adequate space for one suitcase - a second would have been a squeeze. In the foyer there was hot water and sparkling water on tap with a good range of Twinings teabags. There is a Starbucks opposite for coffee, breakfast and meals. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is great, staff is awesome, the size of the room is just enough. I stayed alone at a room for two and the space was just about fine. Bear in mind that there is no closet. I stayed for several days and they so not include cleaning while you are staying, so the hotel might be more focused for short stays. It's just in the corner of union square, great location. The taxi/uber cannot stop on powell street so they will drop/pick you on the corner... important if you have issues to move luggage by your own.

The location is very central, with many options of public transportation, restaurants and bars. It can be a bit noisy, but also during my stay I was close to a place where there was a strike demonstration and they were making a lot of noise, I could hear it but not to a point where it bothered or made it uncomfortable. Easy to access busses, subway, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and cable cars. Walking distance to Fisherman's Whart (+- 2,6 kilometers). The room was small, but decent and comfortable.

The proximity to major public transportation lines like the BART and MUNI are excellent. The rooms were fashionable and look just like the pictures. We received a room upgrade due to the window being broken in our first room. The staff is super friendly and professional. The bed is comfy and my room had a big tv, which I liked.
